More Fake News – actually just inaccurate

The headline actually reads:

” Trump administration to relax methane limits at oil and gas operations “

This is yet one more in a long list of inaccurate and misleading “news” articles by another Reuters “journalist” Timothy Gardner.

First the headline reports this as if it is a done deal when in reality the administration is merely proposing the changes. Granted they are likely to go through but the headline is nonetheless misleading.

Never mind the fact that the Obama administration basically strong-armed the industry with his cutbacks. Never mind the fact that U.S. methane emissions have dropped at least 15% since the early 1990’s while production has doubled. Never mind that the industry now captures and resells the majority of methane produced from its activities.

None of that matters to an industry hell bent on destroying the most successful US President in modern history.

This writer apparently has been living under a rock since 2017 because he thinks that we have already pulled out of the bogus 2015 Paris Accord. One of the single biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated on the global community. He states

Trump has also relaxed rules on carbon emissions from vehicles and intends to withdraw the United States from the 2015 Paris agreement on climate change.

This is all just more posturing from the environmentalist extremists who would rather the US go broke while the rest of the world surpasses us just as long as they can feel good about themselves.

Media Bias at the G7

Germany, India made for each other: PM Modi after meeting Angela …

I read an article by Reuters “journalist” (Jeff Mason) this morning that clearly shows how a  writer purposefully writes the story to reflect poorly on President Trump.

He makes a headline of “Trump, on climate, says he won’t jeopardize U.S. wealth on ‘dreams’“..  He starts out a lot of negative comments about the US pulling out of the Paris Accord etc..

Then he  buries the following several paragraphs down:

The Republican president skipped a session on climate change and biodiversity at the summit, instead holding bilateral meetings with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

And then followed with:

Macron even said: “He wasn’t in the room, but his team was”.

One might think the writer doesn’t understand how a world leader operates, about thing like delegation of tasks, etc.  He mentions the meeting with Merkel and Modi but doesn’t point out that they too are not in the all important “climate change” summit.

The piece isn’t even worthy of being a story but some are so desperate to spin anything into an opportunity to make the US President look bad. Journalism today is in a sad, sad state..
